Regent Lock
No, this is not the Vingcard 2100, it is the first Chinese manufactured lock to make our review. Meet the REGENT lock!
This lock is being offered exclusively through Global Enterprises in Florida. Harvey Brodache has brought a very decent lock to the U.S. market.
AccuLock crews had a chance to install this lock and we found it quite surprising. The quality of the manufacturing is very good. I was pleased to find that the lock has been simplified greatly from the other brand that this looks like.
The installation went without incident, and our only complaint is that the lock requires the customer to insert the card; mag stripe up. This is NOT a big deal, but it is different than all the others. It will just take a bit of getting used to.
All in all, I rate this lock as "GOOD".
